Work and Education Experience

I joined David Lyng Real Estate in 2013 after a successful career in engineering and construction management. Prior to real estate, I was a Senior Project Manager at Cahill Contractors in San Francisco, where I oversaw the construction of a $31.5 million, 120-unit apartment community in the Transbay Redevelopment District. Before Cahill, I worked as an engineer at Treadwell & Rollo, a geotechnical and environmental engineering firm specializing in complex site investigations and foundation design.

My technical background is complemented by an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, also from UC Berkeley.

Today, I combine that analytical and project management experience with more than a decade in real estate to help clients make informed decisions. Whether evaluating a property's value, identifying construction opportunities, or navigating complex negotiations, I bring a data-driven approach and attention to detail that consistently delivers results.

Community Involvement

Since joining the Santa Cruz community in 2013, I have been fortunate to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and neighbors throughout Santa Cruz County. Giving back to the community has always been important to me. Over the years, I have served on the boards of the Santa Cruz County Association of REALTORS®, the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce, and United Way of Santa Cruz County, where I also co-founded the Emerging Leaders Circle to help connect and develop the next generation of community leaders.

Today, I continue my commitment to the community as a board member of Scotts Valley Little League and the Pasatiempo Men's Club. I also enjoy coaching my sons' Little League baseball and youth basketball teams, giving me the opportunity to mentor young athletes while spending time with my family and helping build a strong sense of community.

Outside of real estate, you'll often find me on the golf course, hiking, riding bikes, traveling, or spending time with my wife, Morgan, and our two sons.
